Pest control for businesses and landlords across Cardiff and Caerphilly. Treatment is carried out by our qualified, insured pest control partner, and the drains, pipework and gaps the pests get in through are repaired by us. One call, one point of contact, and the problem fixed at the source.
Already trusted
We already look after the plumbing for high-street names in Cardiff, including Pret A Manger and Costa, where a problem at the start of a shift can stop service. Commercial pest control is run the same way: one number to ring, a straight answer, and the job closed off properly rather than patched.
Why a plumbing firm? Because rats and mice so often get into buildings through the drains and the gaps where pipes pass through walls and floors. The British Pest Control Association estimates around 80% of rat problems inside homes start in the drains. Treatment deals with the pests that are already in. Repairing and proofing the way in is what stops the next ones, and that part is plumbing and drainage work.
Who it's for
The same four steps every time: survey, treat, proof, record.
Rentals, HMOs and student lets. We arrange the treatment, fix the drain or pipe gap behind it, and deal with your tenants direct so you're not stuck in the middle.
Visits arranged around your opening hours, kitchen drains and grease traps checked, and written records of every visit for when the environmental health officer calls.
Reactive call-outs and regular contract visits for managed buildings, with one point of contact for the pests, the drains and the plumbing.
Old drains capped off properly on refurbs and strip-outs, so the building isn't left open to the sewer, plus treatment arranged on site when it's needed.

Wales is different
Your hygiene rating is on the door by law. In Wales, food businesses must display their food hygiene rating, under the Food Hygiene Rating (Wales) Act 2013. In England it is still voluntary. Signs of pests at an inspection can pull that rating down, and here every customer sees it. Keeping records of pest control visits gives you something to show the inspector.
No glue traps. Using a glue trap on a rat or mouse has been a criminal offence in Wales since 17 October 2023, under the Agriculture (Wales) Act 2023. England allows them under licence; Wales does not. A lot of advice online is written for England, so check it before you act on it.
Rats in the street sewer are a matter for your local council, which can ask Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water to bait the public sewers. Shared drains and pipes beyond your boundary are usually Welsh Water's to repair, and we'll tell you if the problem is on their side before you pay for anything.

Treatment is carried out by our qualified, insured pest control partner. We arrange it, stay your point of contact, and do the part a pest controller can't: repairing the drains, pipework and gaps the pests get in through.

Yes. Visits are arranged around when you trade, and every visit is written up so you have a record for your files and for an environmental health inspection.

Not in Wales. Using a glue trap on a rat or mouse has been a criminal offence here since 17 October 2023 under the Agriculture (Wales) Act 2023. England still allows them under licence, which is why so much online advice gets this wrong for Welsh businesses.
